%D Line vs Signal Line

The %D line is the slower, smoothed signal line of the Stochastic Oscillator, calculated as a moving average of the %K line, used to generate crossover-based momentum signals.

The 9-period EMA of the MACD line, plotted alongside it to generate crossover signals — when the MACD line crosses above the signal line it is bullish; when it crosses below it is bearish.
