Failure Swing vs RSI

A failure swing is a momentum oscillator pattern in which the indicator enters an extreme zone, pulls back, re-enters without reaching a new extreme, and then breaks back through the pullback level — signalling a likely reversal.

Relative Strength Index — a momentum oscillator ranging from 0 to 100 that measures the speed and magnitude of recent price changes. Values above 70 indicate potential overbought conditions; below 30 indicates potential oversold conditions.
